Adds another layer to comfort in the Lawson hammock! Highly recommend if you are camping in the cold!
Great company to deal with. Quality products!
Kept me toasty warm in the air next to a river - worked equally well in a bivvy setup inside the hammock keeping the cold ground away! A must have.
It is definitely designed for this hammock, because it fits underneath perfectly, from the head to toe (unlike some underquilts that just cover the back). I haven't tried it in rain, yet, but it does appear to be just small enough that the rain fly will protect it. On my latest camping trip, I thought I'd be fine with temperatures "only in the 60's", but got started to get cold and got up and put the underquilt on. There was an immediate effect once I got back in, and I stayed warm for the rest of the night. I highly recommend adding this to your Lawson Hammock.
I bought it for a recent hiking trip in Colorado and it fit my REI hammock great. I sold a friend in it who will be ordering soon
Awesome! The Lawson Hammocks and Underquilts are truly on another level ! Quality Craftsmanship, Quality Materials, Great Durability, A Fair Price Point, Fast Shipping, Kind and Considerate Customer Service !!! What more could you ask for ? Camping & Hikeing Blessings !
First time using an underquilt and it was super easy to set up and take down. Kept me warm in the cold as designed. I was worried that it would get wet in the rain but once fitting it onto the hammock saw that it sits perfectly underneath the hammock, so no problems there.
2019 was my first go at overnight hanging and I started with a Lawson. After a few tries and some reading I realized why an underquilt in necessary to keep the moisture out. I'm in NE PA and still using the hammock overnight with a 30 degree sleeping bag halfway through October. Warm every night.
