Absolutely love it so far!! Taken it on 2 backpacking trips, and have enjoyed great nights sleep each time… my back wishes I had purchased one a long time ago
this hammock sucks
this hammock sucks, very unstable and there were no straps included in this $200.00 hammock
I like the hammock it works as advertised and is comfortable to sleep in .
Setup is fast and easy.
Long Term Experience
I've had my Lawson Blue Ridge for about 20 years, long enough that one set of spreaders and cables pretty much disintegrated. I have camped in Alaska, all over the Rocky Mountains, in parks (once suspended by the posts of an abandoned Canadian gazebo), in a monster storm on the Apostle Islands, in Nova Scotia, and dozens of Midwestern fields and wind breaks. I always wake up dry and well-rested. I haven't had a lot of luck using it as a ground tent, but I'm sort of a lardass and I am 70+l. So, that may not be the fault of the Lawson.
Great Product that held up well
I did much research on hammock tents prior to purchasing the Lawson as I was prepping for a 7 day 6 night BWCA canoe trip and did not want a failed or inferior hammock experience again. I purchased another brand that did not hold up on a previous trip leading to several nights exposed to the bugs. The Lawson worked perfectly. Over 6 nights I slept through thunderstorms and remained dry, high winds and did not tip, temperatures that remained in the high 70s overnight and still was comfortable. If you are looking for a stable, durable, lay flat hammock this is the one. Spend some time adjusting the spreader bar and ropes but well worth the ability to sleep on your side or if you toss like I do at night.
It's even easier to set up than I thought.
Great camping hammock
It is just what I have been looking for in a camping hammock. Extremely comfortable allowing you to get a great night's sleep.
