Good for Car Camping, Unwieldy for Lightweight backpacking

This hammock performs reasonably well for what is represented, but I wouldn't recommend it for backpacking because of its bulk and weight. In exchange for the weight gain, you get a hammock that's, well, pretty much just a hammock. With the weight of a person in it, don't think that the floor is going to actually remain in any shape resembling flat. Also, it really was impossible to use without staking down the guys TIGHT on each side. Without this, it was easily prone to flip. That said, I used it on a rainy 3 day trip in the Smokies and the rain cover performed reasonably well-- all dry. But, I had to find an additional way to cover my pack and gear, with no vestibule (and, again, you won't be putting any gear on the floor of this thing). All in all, it's a fun item for short distances or car camping, but doesn't really fit the bill for serious backpacking

Best Hammock Ever

The hammock is amazing! The best part about it, is you don't have to sleep on your back if you don't want to. Big win for anyone who sleeps on their stomach. Great as a tent too, if there is not an area to hook your straps to.

Good

The hammock is roomy and when used as a hammock it sways heavily. I countered this by tying the corners down. As a tent the hammock seems to work just fine. I have set it up but not actually used it.

Can`t Wait

Set up on ground no trees available in yard I liked the ease of set up. Pleased with construction and material can`t wait to try hanging and getting right setup for my comfort. Spreader bars give plenty of room I will be using hammock on float trips so weight isn`t problem .

Loved it

This was a Christmas present for my son. He loved it. He is 6'3 and fit perfectly inside.

No more taco

Being broad shouldered it wasn't very comfortable using the standard hammocks, Although size-wise this is a lot larger to carry, you'll love the comfort and all in one aspects. Great for car camping too.

Only hammock I can actually sleep in

Easy to set up and I love the built-in fly. Used with the Klymit Hammock V sleeping pad and appropriate-weight sleeping bag it is a great motorcycle camping kit.
