Comfortable Compact Easy to setup
Very cool design.
Above all else I love the bug net integrated and supported to provide a spacious inside compartment! It’s so nice to just look up and be immersed in nature - without the bugs.
Pitched it between two well placed trees in my backyard. Works great. Waiting eagerly for hunting season to use it as my sleeping arrangement. I went with this product because it reduced the amount of equipment that I would take with me. Tent+thin foam pad+sleeping bag+ground tarp. Now it's just this Lawson Hammock and a thin blanket. The material of all parts and components seem pretty durable. My only tiny-micro-miniscule critic, which wouldn't stop me from buying a second hammock 10-20 years from now when mine gets to old would be that due to the type of material, there is a bit of stretch in it. It seems that when I lay down in it, maybe it due to my 220lb 6'0" frame the center of the hammock seems to have too much material and with it's amount of stretch, I feel like I have to winch the hammock really tight between the trees in order to keep the hammock firmly taut so I don't fold in half while laying down in it. Thanks @LawsonsHammock for this unique product. The world needs more innovation like this.
I'm unstoppable with this thing
I've camped with this 3 times now and I feel unstoppable with it it's comfortable, bugs can't touch me and I fit pretty good in it for me being 6ft 4in tall I bought a separate tarp I felt the rain fly being so close to me it'd make it too warm like in a similar tent I own but this thing is awesome the under quilt that you can buy with it I'm not sure how I feel about it I might not have put it on right or maybe the gap between the hammock and quilt goes away when you get in it but it seems very loose and the straps don't really stay on how it shows in the instructions but I tied it on with rope to get it to stay all in all I'm happy with this hammock
Comfortable easy to set up and plenty of room to stretch out. The only issue is that I personally roll around a lot when I sleep and I ended up upside down. can't fault anyone but myself for that though! ill have to tie the sides down next time lol.
Many hundreds of positive reviews. Don't hesitate to get one
Enjoyed my first hammock camping experience!
This was my first time to “get off the ground” when camping. The Lawson hammock was easy to set up. The straps were stable. The hammock was relatively flat. When I first settled in for the night, I found my perfect nirvana. I did get up a couple of times that night, and upon getting back in, could not seem to get it exactly right, but was comfortable nonetheless. This was my first use, so more practice will improve my experience. Back sleeping worked decently well, side sleeping seemed to work surprisingly well. I used my own tarp above, which I preferred to the included tarp, which sits right on top of the bivy. The areas that I would note for Lawsons’s improvement or my own hacks are: - My sleeping pad slid around like crazy when getting in and out. There are YouTube videos of hacks where you can use a sleeping bag liner to hold your hammock in place. Very necessary. - When getting in and out, the hammock tended to tip and many things would fall to the ground - The small side pockets are only for small light items, anything else will fall out when you get in and out. - The shock cord holding up the tent poles at either end should be much stronger and thicker. Overall I am happy with the purchase and look forward to more trips. Thanks!
It's a hammock, it's a tent!
I love my new Lawson Blue Ridge hammock. I love how well it is made and from quality materials. I love how it is rain proof with its detachable rain fly and I love how it is bug proof with its no see-um mesh. I love how the spreader bars keep me from doing the usual hammock banana and enable me to sleep flat on my stomach. I love how the aluminum arch supports raise and give shape to the no see-um mesh providing me with a bug free screened in porch to relax in after a long day on the trail. I love how there are interior pockets for those little necessities. I love how there is a little hook overhead to hang an interior reading light from. In short, I love my new Lawson Blue Ridge camping hammock. See you on the Appalaichian Trail in '23!
