Great product & it works on my other hammocks too!
Big and warm
Very pleased with this underquilt after using it in temps in the teens and with a variety of hammocks, including my LawsonBlue Ridge. It’s larger than my other quilt, providing more coverage and plenty of warmth. I love how easy it is to adjust and attach to 3 different hammocks. I’m glad I bought this quality product!
Totally worth it
We've owned our Lawson Blueridge hammocks for a few years, using them for bikepacking and camping, but in warmer climates. We found that below 20C or 65F we were getting cold. This summer we spent nights that got down to 10C or 50F and were really comfortable. I'm looking forward to trying them in cooler temps. They made the hammock feel warm, even right when you get in at night! They were easy to unpack, connect to the system and adjust. They can be adjusted for more or less draft underneath for warmer nights, and it was really easy to get everything working.
A must have!
If you have the blue ridge hammock this is a must have! I slept ver toasty at 34 degrees f, no complaints at all! Tons of adjustments too!
Just what I thought it would be and more
Can't wait to use it this fall.
So far so good
The quilt is definitely an improvement in keeping warm and am glad I purchased it! the Lawson hammock tent has extended my backpacking as it is by far the most comfortable sleeping arrangement in the back woods. Regarding the quilt, I wonder how it will work in the rain. will water puddle up on top of the quilt so when I lay in the tent am I getting wet? Also, to eliminate an additional stuff sack I will be making a larger hammock tent sack to hold both the tent and the quilt. this would be a nice product for Lawson to offer with the quilt.
It is durable and adjustable, but if you want to use this with a regular hammock you have to put carabiner on each side and you have to put a 10inch bungee cord on each side of the hammock then connect the carabiners to the bungee cord to get a perfect hang, I tried to describe it to the best of my ability, if it is confusing just read it again, and if it is still confusing just show it to someone that knows about hammock and they will explain what im saying trust me... if you do what I said... it will be a great buy. What some people might have a hard time with is how fluffy it can be when trying to get it back in the bag, but the secret is fold it in half then tightly roll it up... it will be a little long for the bag, but once you stick it in then just take the part thats hanging out and bend and stuff in the bag. But if you really want to save space and you have a nice camping bag, just put it in the bottom of your bag without the stuff sack, it will be like a blanket.
